MAB 4 PES Microdialysis Probes |
Membrane: 6 kDalton cut-off PES membrane
Membrane O/D: 0.24mm
Shaft: PI tubing
Shaft O/D: PI tubing 0.2mm, PI tubing top sleeve 0.5mm
Inner Cannula: Fused Silica
Inlet/Outlet Cannulas: PEEK tubing |
| 15mm shaft (pack of 3): 1mm membrane MAB 4.15.1.PES 2mm membrane MAB 4.15.2.PES |
3mm membrane MAB 4.15.3.PES 4mm membrane MAB 4.15.4.PES |
The MAB 4 standard probes have 15 mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1 - 4 mm. These probes all come with 6,000 Dalton cut-off PES membrane. PES is a dry membrane that withstands autoclaving. The MAB 4 probes are designed for awake as well as anaesthetized work. By using the MAB 4.15.IC guide cannulas, preparation of the animal prior to the probe implantation is simple and straight forward. |

4mm shaft (pack of 3):
1mm membrane MAB 8.4.1
2mm membrane MAB 8.4.2 |
Accessories:
MAB 8 probe clip 100-5000
MAB 8 FEP tubing (10 pack) 400-1053
MAB 8 tubing adapters (10 pack) 400-1054
MAB 8 connectors (10 pack) 400-1055 |
Standard MAB 8 probes have 4mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1 - 2mm. These probes have a 6,000 Dalton cut-off PES (Polyether Sulphone) membrane. PES is a dry membrane meaning that as they are not stored in Glycerol, prior flushing is greatly reduced. The MAB 8 probe series is designed for both awake and anaesthetised animal work |

MAB 9 Microdialysis Probes |
 | Membrane: 6 kDalton cut-off PES membrane Membrane O/D: 0.6 mm Shaft: PI tubing Shaft O/D: 0.5 mm Inner cannula: PI tubing Inlet/outlet cannula: PEEK tubing Inlet dead volume: 0.7 µl Outlet dead volume: 2.4µl |
| 14mm shaft (pack of 3):
1mm membrane MAB 9.14.1 2mm membrane MAB 9.14.2 3mm membrane 9.14.3 4mm membrane 9.14.4 | 20mm shaft (pack of 3): 1mm membrane MAB 9.20.1 2mm membrane MAB 9.20.2 3mm membrane MAB 9.20.3 4mm membrane MAB 9.20.4 |
| The MAB 9 series of microdialysis probes come in different shaft lengths and membrane lengths depending on the application. Standard probes have 14 or 20 mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1 - 4 mm. These probes all come with 6,000 Dalton cut0off PES membrane. A major advantage with this membrane is that the probes are stored dry prior to use as well as between experiments. These probes are warranted for single use only, however it is possible to re-use them if handled with care. Re-usable and disposable guide cannulas are available for these probes. |

Syringes and Cannulas (pack of 10) MAB 40 Syringe Kit 400 1028 |
| The MAB 40 Dual Microdialysis Pump is a dual syringe pump designed for use in microdialysis. Due to the independent operation of the two syringes each pump can simultaneously run at a different flow rate. A small footprint makes it easy to place the pump close to the experimental setup. Using disposable sterile syringes as well as sterilised syringe tips ensures that a completely sterile experiment can be performed. Eight different flow rate settings cover all the most common flow rates used in microdialysis. |

| Liquid Switch |
 | Two inlet channels, one outlet channel and one waste channel. Rotor made from KEL-F. Cannulas made from stainless steel which connects to tubing adapters and FEP tubing. System outlet dead volume: 2 µl.Ordering information: Liquid Switch 400-1056 |
| The Liquid Switch is designed for the option of perfusing one probe with two different perfusion media without introducing air or interrupting the constant flow through the probe. An example being applications where it is desired to perfuse the probe with a drug on timed intervals, collecting samples corresponding to the reaction caused by the particular drug. The Liquid Switch is also designed for ease of use and simple maintenance. The Liquid Switch is easily cleaned between experiments by flushing through with water. If left a while before cleaning, the switch can easily be taken apart and the individual parts being washed separately in an ultra sonic bath. |
