The MAB 1 standard probes have a 2mm shaft length and membrane length of 4mm, making it ideal for small areas of peripheral tissue. This probe comes with a 6,000 Dalton cut-off cuprophane membrane stabilised with glycerol, which requires that the probes are stored in liquid between experiments.

The MAB 2 series of microdialysis probes come in different shaft and membrane lengths depending on the application. Standard probes have 14mm or 20mm shaft length and membrane lengths of 1 - 4mm.
All the probes come with a 35,000 Dalton cut-off PES membrane. A major advantage with the membrane is the probes can be stored dry prior to use as well as between experiments. Although the probes are warranted for single use only, it is common to re-use them.
Re-usable guide cannulas are available for these probes.

The MAB 3 microdialysis probes are a series of flexible probes. These probes are autoclavable using "Saturated steam sterilisation at 121 °c". All probes come with 35 kDalton cut-off PES membrane. Like the MAB 2 probes, these probes can also be stored dry prior to use as well as between experiments. Although the probes are warranted for single use only, it is common to re-use them.
Probes with customer specified lengths of shaft and/or membrane are also available as well as introducers. The split tubing introducer is simple and straightforward to use.
